Bounce Forward

HKF is proud to work in partnership with Bounce Forward, a renowned charity that has 14 years’ experience in supporting children and the adults around them to build resilience and emotional wellbeing.

The partnership is providing training for teachers and parents to build children’s and young people’s psychological fitness. Resources will be available in schools, workplaces, and to a broader audience, with the goal of promoting positive mental health across all generations.

Initially 17 schools in all nine regions across England are benefiting from the HKF support by being set up with the high quality Healthy Minds teaching resources that feature bespoke content co-authored by Harry and Kate.

The ambition is to mobilise support from like-minded supporters to help enable Bounce Forward to offer training and resources to every school in the country.  The belief is that we need to teach our children, as part of their core education, about the brain, the link between thoughts and feelings, the role positive emotions and the value of optimism and human connection.  These skills are vital in learning to deal with inevitable setbacks in life, but also thrive into opportunities ahead.

Shout

HKF is proud to support, Shout, the UK’s only 24/7 text messaging support service for anyone who is struggling to cope. The service provides round the clock support from trained volunteers, supervised and supported in real time by expert clinicians. Shout currently responds to 1,500-2,000 requests for support every day.

Harry has supported Shout through his sponsorship of Leyton Orient Football club, through which Harry passed on shirt sponsorship rights to Shout so that they could feature their logo on the first team home kit.  In addition, Shout benefitted from match day awareness and fundraising opportunities that were supported by Harry.

To date HKF has produced two nationwide billboard campaigns on behalf of Shout, to raise awareness of their service and to help the charity to recruit more volunteers.

As well as helping to raise awareness of Shout and volunteering opportunities, HKF also helps fund this vital service and encourages others to support.
